Melissa & Doug Lace & Trace Bundle - Pets & Farm Animals

I bought them for my grandmother with Alzheimer's. She used to sew, knit and crochet all the time but is no longer able to remember how. Her smile when she completed the dog brought me to tears.She and the other residents now spend hours "getting their sewing done." They are so proud of their productivity and the lacing reminds them of their knitting, etc.The cards are extremely sturdy and well made. Just perfect!!

These lace and trace cards are perfect for 3 and up. They are sturdy. I was afraid they were going to be thin enough to bend or tear when played with by toddlers. The cards are big enough for small hands to learn to lace. The cards have bright colors. Back and front are both printed. Perfect for 3 and up.

I really like hands-on learning activities. My younger daughters want to learn how to sew and we bought these for them so they can practice creating a stitch. They really enjoy working on their, as they like to call it, "sewing projects". My only complaint is that the Melissa & Doug boxes don't come with lids. They come in nice wooden boxes but they're hard to use and store because they don't have lids. We do keep them and our oldest used them when he's building Lego sets.

Lacing is a great skill for children to learn. Melissa & Doug offer this set of very sturdy, darling animals to help kids practice. My grandchildren love sitting with these. They also use them as tracing templates. These are perfect for travel as well.

These are wonderful for little hands. Bought for Christmas for my almost 3yr old granddaughter. She loved them & they are taking to keep her occupied in church.

These are very nice. I purchased them for a long plane trip we were making with our three year old twins. The kids were only mildly interested in them, but I think as they get a little older they will gain interest. I didn’t realize when I purchased that these would be like a beginning sewing activity. Definitely age 3+, because of the strings.

Great for kids. But boy, I use the container for dice treys, and these work great. Win win for both kids and adults.

Cute animal prints and excellent activity for fine motor skills. We take these in the car as an activity. Tip for parents, tie off one end of the string to keep it from pulling all the way through

Bought this for a 2.5 year old and she loves it. Simple but cute, sturdy and great for dexterity
