This is absolutely simple to set up and use. The sounds are distinct and loud and The lyrics are very helpful for remembering. The best feature yet, is when I am listening to the sounds on the patio, the appropriate bird calls back or comes to the patio- cardinals, sparrows, and bluebirds all came when they heard their song played in just 5 minutes of using it. Once those were received we absolutely love this great little tool. We have learned so much and now when we hear a bird it's not just white noise in the background, as we can actually figure out what bird or frog it is. Amazing. I almost bought one of these units several years ago but decided not to due to cost. However, while at a local nature center I was able to see one in use and fell in love with the idea. I suppose had I seen it in action a few years back when I was contemplating buying one I would have realized then it was worth every penny. Lots of time and effort went into making this fine little tool so it is worth every penny in my opinion.
