President New Virginia - Magnetic Mount CB Radio Antenna with Adjustable Angled Whip, Easy to Install

I'm only giving 5 stars because it is exactly what it says it is, and does exactly what it says it will do. Its a good working antenna. Its not the best one ever made, but anyone looking for a cosmetically pleasing and good working antenna, this is it. There is no tuning available on this but overall as low swr. It makes it quick to install and get you transmitting.

The magnet on the mount is very powerful, will not slide off. Reception and range is good. About 4 miles max with favorable conditions. I used it on my 4 wheeler, and liked it so much, that I bought one for my semi tractor day cab truck. The cable is long enough to go from the roof of the day cab ( mounted on the metal bracket behind the cab. ) to the dash, via the driver side window lining. I paired it to a cobra 19. Works great.

Works great can hear other drivers very clearly. Was told that transmission was clear as well. Don’t know the range but i am in the city and heavy traffic I would say about a mile or so. Magnet is very strong no fear of it flying off. Now build quality is okay. The antenna loosens up after a few days of it on my truck. The black plastic ring where the antenna meets the base just broke when tightening it down almost like shattering into pieces. I really do like the style a stealth of it. I may change it out to a lil Wilson if it loosens up again.

Just received my President Virginia, installed it to my Subaru with a Cobra 25ltd NW. I checked my swr 1:1, 1:1.2 across the band. Got a radio check roughly 5miles away from me saying I was giving them 9lbs on their receive. Keep in mind that you compromise distance with this 1/4 wave antenna. You're not going to be Dx'ing across the country bearfoot unless you have a foot warmer 100watts max. Even then you may or may not get out, all depends on mother nature. This antenna is good for road trips, line of sight communication with other drivers on the road. Astecticly it looks good and it's not screaming cb in your car or truck. I have a nice placement of my radio due to lack of space in the console of my car. Overall it's a very good antenna for my application.

It looks like original equipment, not like a CB antenna. That being said, it's shouldn't be expected to receive/transmit like a trucker's CB antenna. For casual, motorist use, it does a good job. Also, it can be easily unscrewed from its base for car washes and low-ceiling parking garages.

This antenna is mounted on the roof of my vehicle. Channels 19 through 40 are running swr's of 1.3:1 and less. However, channels 1 through 9 are running swr's starting at over 2.5:1, and drop as the frequency increases. Channels 11 is about where the lowest safe swr's begin. To summarize: the antenna is too short for the lower c.b. radio frequencies.

What I like...everything about it! Its stealth and it matches my FM/AM antenna. Its easy to install. It looks modern and misses my garage door by 1". Its flat SWR across CB 40 channels and usable on 10 meters using the internal antenna tuner in my G90. I just got a 5/9 from a German station while on the parkway during the 10 meter contest running 20W. On CB its great on receive and transmit. Love it. I think it requires a good ground plane IE smack in the middle of the roof. Thank you President Electronics.

Paired with the presidente mini works perfectly. This is something that I use for my car. It's not really for chit chatting on the highway, but for when stuck in major traffic jams, I am able to hear and communicate with truckers.

Petite antenne qui ne déguise pas trop le véhicule. Réception tout de même limité mais fait le travail pour jaser avec les contacts locaux

Mis à jour le 5/08/23 (Raccordé à un poste radio CB PRESIDENT BILL II) - Bonne longueur de câble, mais selon la distance entre l'antenne et le poste, il se peux que vous ayez à acheter un prolongateur. - Difficile de donner sa portée, je laisse ça aux spécialistes, mais de mes essais en milieu rural je dirais 2 à 3 km sans trop de soucis. L’environnement et le matériel de celui qui émettra avec vous auront sont influence. - En cas de doute sur l'émission et réception, faite une vérification à l'aide d'un TOS Mètre.

Sehr gute Antenne mit für die Länge gute Reichweite. Vor allem nicht offensichtlich nach CB Funk anzusehen. Bin für meine Zwecke ausreichend zufrieden. Da diese auch schon die zweite ist immer wieder gern. Das Problem mit Magnetantennen Fuß ist der Gummi der mit der Zeit und Witterung austrocknet.

Looks good on my pickup and works well.No complaints.
