These are a very heavy duty single layer Mylar so if you don't rip the material and fold them back up yes they are reusable. I opened on of mine up and tested, I didn't tear it so I folded it back up and stuck it in my pack. **Q: what temperatures does this work in? Most can only keep warmth to a certain degree. Would these work up to -20°F? or colder?** A: If the temperature is 32 degrees freezing you would need to have the correct clothing to totally keep you warm. This Mylar sheet could be wrapped around you to keep rain off of you. Would be helpful at a rainy football game. Protection would be similar to using large piece of plastic sheet to stop wind and rain. Could be used as a light blanket when sleeping on a cot., Or when walking through rain if you have forgot your raincoat. Until opened the little boxes they come in are small and packable. You could fit four in a cigarette pack. **Q: Does this blanket have an inside like most mylar blankets?** A: The blanket is OD green on one side and silver on the other.OD can be used for concealment in the wilderness, the silver side can be used for heat retention, conduction, and reflection. **Q: Would this work well for as the bottom most layer of a shelter to help retain and reflect heat back in and to help keep out water?** A: I dont see why not. One side is a brownish/gree color and the is mirrored. These are thicker than the typical emergency blanket, but still fold up in a tight package. The company is owned by fellow veterans who have been in the field and know what is required. The customer service is the best! After I received the product the company emailed me to say if there was any problems to contact them and they would make it right, many companies do not have that level of customer service. Most companies when trying to contact them are either impossible to get a hold of or the customer service is outsourced and they could not care less. All the products I have purchased from TITAN have been outstanding! The level of craftsmanship is exactly what I'd expect from veterans who have been in the field and know what it means to have products that are functional AND durable. They are what I think of when I think of American pride and quality! It's a great piece of mind knowing they stand behind their products 100%! I bought a bunch of these emergency blankets and decided to try one when a group of my friends and I were sitting outside at night, my girlfriend told me it worked so good that she was getting extremely hot...she had to take it off, I tried it and I could feel my body temperature rising and decided to take it off. In a situation where I had to stay warm from the elements it would be perfect!
