They’re hard to put on but very sliming once they’re on…boy do they make a difference! I’m buying another one!

My main concern was the top rolling down and I even chatted with someone on the Spanx website who said that if you are in between sizes then sizing up will help prevent rolling. Even though I am losing weight, I went ahead and got the larger size. Trying it on and walking around my house I was disappointed at first because it immediately started rolling down. Loved it everywhere else so I decided to wear to work the next day with the straps to hold the top in place (pro tip: don’t try to figure out the straps when you are already running late! Took me a good five minutes searching for the second strap I swear I just had before I realized they were hooked together). Not sure if it just needed a stretching from the initial try on or if the straps did anything, but I had almost no rolling of the band wearing these for over 10 hours! I didn’t have that tummy sauna/sausage casing feeling like with cheaper brands. I am a little wary of using the opening - I got the nude color and they are almost see-through. One thing that is nice about the shorts style shapewear is that your rear end is covered in a dress - it looks like they mean for you to wear these without underwear but with the transparency and the big hole, I felt it was too risky. I was hesitant to buy these because of the expense, but then I realized that I had 3 $20 ones to return that just didn’t work for me despite rave reviews. I learned a lesson in buying quality here. I think the style is good for those with long torsos - they went all the way up without any issue and I’m normally fighting the highwaisted styles to get them in place. For reference, I’m 5’9” 180lbs size 12/14, pear shaped and I bought large.

Worst shape wear I've ever bought. Advertises that it doesn't roll. It 100,% does roll. Badly. I couldn't get it to stay up even shoved under my bra. For the brand and how much this cost, I'm honestly disgusted at Spanx. Absolutely horrible quality all around. How disappointing I followed their suggestions about sizing and everything.

Ordered these to what I believed my size would be off the chart and boy was I wrong. They run 2 sizes too small. Could barely get them over my knees. They seem like good quality though

I am post-op and looking for compression shapewear to help with the healing (help push swelling and assist with drainage) that I could wear all day long and sleep in. I originally bought 2 different Faja’s (look for my reviews on those). They worked but the fabric wasn’t soft. This caused me to look at Spanx. I have now bought two different Spanx. Here is my review on this one (which I am wearing right now): Pros: Great compression (like a faja), comfortable fabric against the skin, it is tight and I had to work to get into it…and it did not rip, so far I have not had any issues with the top rolling down or the legs rolling up, the look is smooth and you can’t tell I have it on under my clothes, I definitely feel supported Cons: I had to work hard to get into it (this is the same size as my other Spanx, which I don’t have this issue with) - I am sure it is because of the compression level of this one. The gusset (to go to the bathroom) is not large enough to even go #1 without the fabric getting wet. At the top (upper chest) it is extremely tight. I could wear it for a while, but I don’t know about all day or to sleep in (which is what I am looking for post-op). Spanx has another level of compression up from this “Supersculpt”…knowing the compression on this one…I am afraid of that one. The support on this one is just what the Dr ordered (literally).

I purchased these in two sizes, small and medium, in addition to S and M of a different style, in hopes that one would work for me. Overall, these are a great product that holds in what you need them to, once you are finally able to squeeze them over your hips and up your sausage link legs. It was ROUGH getting them on the first time; it took me about ten minutes (including doing a bridge on the floor and squeezing the top part over my hips). I am 5'4 and 145 lbs, thought I would be just fine in the medium. At first I thought I wasn't going to get them on but I was really committed to the cause! Once they were on, they were fantastic, surprisingly comfortable, legs didn't roll up and top didn't roll down. There is a specially made hole in the crotch for bathroom purposes, I tried it but found it to be potentially dangerous/messy. Final opinion- Great product, glad I got it! Just be ready for the fight to put them on.

Well I ordered this for an upcoming event to help smooth out my dress which was slightly clingy. I ordered a Small as I’m 5’ 3” and fluctuate between 99 & 102 lbs & usually wear a 0 or 2. So I was surprised when I couldn’t get them past my knees!! Haha! But after a few committed minutes, they did finally pull up & settled above my waist—Wow!! Immediately Slimming & Figure enhancing! And they were actually quite comfortable once I got them on fully. They really did make a good difference in how my dress looked on & also tried a few other dresses on to compare. Just lovely & completely hidden under even the most fitted dresses! I did not experience any “roll down” from top—but had the top band placed under my bra band. Not something I’d wear daily, but excellent for special events & dresses. Size up if you’re unsure as it does take a moment to get them on ;). Worth the extra cost!!

I bought this to go under my Mother of the bride dress and the top rolled down in back. I didn’t see the straps that are supposed to come with it. Maybe they would have helped. I wouldn’t have liked something pulling down on my shoulders. I ended up returning it and getting a Shapermint. I got 2 for about $35. Shapermint has silicone strips at the top and it stayed in place (slightly tucked under my Bra) all day and evening, even through dancing. I thought the Shapermint was pretty comparable as far as fabric, sucking me in & fit. Spanx Pro’s: Does what it says, definitely sucked me in. The double gusset crotch sounds like a winner... I’m not sure if it works, but I can tell you pulling these up and down to go to the bathroom is a huge task, especially in a heavily beaded long dress🤣 Spanx Con’s: Really expensive compared to Shapermint deal. Rolls down at the top Shapermint Pro’s: Does what it says it does, definitely sucked me in. Stayed up well Affordable price (it was a deal. I think it was $21 and then $12 or $13 for another if I wanted it.) Shapermint Con’s: No double gusset crotch It doesn’t go on as easy as they show in their videos! 🤪🤣
