what is the difference between an N95 and KN95

N95 is an American certification that requires the mask be fit tested. Usually the straps are over the head. Kn94 is a Korean certification that is close but not quite as stringent as n95. Some folks think Kn94 is easier to breathe in. I'm going to buy more of these, but they are a challenge for my asthmatic self to breathe in. I prefer the surgical ones but they're not as good against omicron.

are these masks chinese fakes?

I did not think about them possibly being fake. They say on the packaging "NON-MEDICAL" and made in china. They reference a PFE 95% to particle size of filtration. They also state "This product is non-medical" on enclosed paperwork. The package identifies them as "Protective Mask KN95" I have another more expensive mask also made in China that give the filtration rate of 95% and do not have any NON-MEDICAL verbiage. Its packaging identifies them as "KN95 Respiratory Face Mask". You decide for yourself.

How would I go through the process of reporting this seller for price gouging? I ordered these last July for $15.79 and now they are selling for $56.
