Me gustó este modelo de Irwin y aunque quizá podría ser más precisa, hace muy bien su trabajo. Esta punta que tienen todas las escuadras de combinación, la que se usa para el marcado, se me hace muy difícil de usar ya que es demasiado delgada y pequeña. Creo que se podría cambiar el diseño de esa pieza por algo un poco más robusto para que resultara útil y práctico llevarlo pegado a la herramienta. Sin embargo es un detalle que se agradece. :)) No vi si en las fotos de la publicación se ve la graduación de la escuadra, y bueno, el caso es que la que recibí tiene por un lado el sistema inglés, las pulgadas, y por el otro tiene ambos, pulgadas y centímetros.

I also own the 6 inch version of this square and love them both. Looking at over 15 different combo squares to find just one that was well built and worth the price was no easy task. This Irwin line is second to none when comparing other squares at this price point. It's accurate and easy to use along with handsome looks and a nice heft to it makes it feel like a quality tool that it is. The Inside edges on the head were a little sharp but I expected that but the outside edges are smooth and nicely chamfered for comfort. When I get a new tool that has edges or corners I always knock them down with some fine grit to make it feel worked in and slightly used. It's very hard to find a quality tool that isn't over priced this day and age. Some of us need a good working tool without breaking the bank. This fits the bill in every way. I highly recommend this square!

I've had a couple of the cheap and nasty lightweight versions that quickly go rusty and leave you unable to read the markings. This will last many years if looked after. Accurate with stainless rule. The only problem I had was one corner of the rule had a minimal burr, but easily corrected with a file.
