I love the pleasant glow these bulbs produce. These offer a more white-light glow compared to the yellow glow if you will. The light is more clear and brighter. The only issue with these two-prong bulbs are that they are not easy to install. I recommend the 50 watt as it's not too hard on the eyes and our bathroom is much more brighter then it was with the old yellow-glow bulbs. It's all about personal preference. Items came in a nice box but the seller should have added some bubble wrap to better protect them. So far so good, the two I installed work great. Thank you Amazon!

Significantly improved the range hood lighting. Original were halogen bulbs, one died so looked into led replacements. Decided a brighter cooler white bulb would be an improvement. Looks like I was right. The warm white were fine as a nightlight but not very good for cooking. These brighten up the whole cooktop much better and the daylight color temp just seems much more neutral for cooking. Was silly to pay extra for a dimmable since these do not have a dimmer. First impressions using them is no flicker detectable which is highly appreciated when standing at the cooktop for long stretches. Expect much better life than the 2 yrs we got from the orig halogen. Cooler operation and energy efficiency are a bonus.
