Comfort Zone 60 Day Starter Kit: 1 Cat Calming Diffuser & 2 Refills; Cat Pheromones Help Anxiety; Reduce Stress, Urine Marking, Scratching

I originally bought this for a very scared new kitten I'd gotten years ago. I tried every trick I'd learned to help a new kitten adjust to a new home and new owners but nothing was working. She was so scared, I couldn't get her to come out from under the bed. So, I decided to try this because a veterinarian recommended it to me. It is a synthetic pheromone that mimics the pheromone that new cat mothers release in order to keep their newborn kittens calm and safe while they nurse and sleep. I didn't have much faith in this, at first, but was willing to give it a try. I was told it could take up to 2 weeks and should be plugged in the room the cat is in most often. It doesn't affect humans and we can't smell it. I continued to lay on the floor and talk to her as she hid under my bed, made eye contact with her, would reach my hand out to her and even sing to her. Nothing. By day 4 with Comfort Zone plugged in two different outlets in my bedroom, I heard her start to purr as I talked to her. Then, I put my hand out and she slowly sniffed it. Eventually, I had her rubbing her face against my hand, which means she's marking me with her scent; an honor coming from a cat. Little by little, I noticed a bunch of changes from her coming out from under the bed during the night time to eat by the window, rather than eating under the bed, walking around the room in curiosity about what different things there were to smell and climb and then came the biggest change which I began to fear may never happen: She jumped up on my bed and slept at my feet. After that, I knew that with time she'd be the affectionate kitty I knew she wanted to be. The poor thing was just so overtaken by fear and anxiety that she wasn't able to do anything about it until she felt safe enough. That was my first experience with this amazing product. I've used it for many cats for a variety of different issues, most recently being, my 4 year old Burmilla cat bullying my 2 year old Burmese cat. I've plugged two in for them. One is in my bedroom, where my younger cat hides from the bully cat and the other is plugged into the outlet near the cat tree downstairs, where my lovely but bully kitty tends to hangout. These have been plugged in for a week and a half now and there have been a lot less fights, my younger cat has gained some confidence and leaves my bedroom during the day for small periods of time, here and there. My older cat isn't stalking the younger one as much and seems to be less pent up with urges to attack something or someone. It's hard to know how much is time, work on the owner's part and how much is from this pheromone but given the number of times I've used it and there has been some change, though neither drastic nor complete personality change, it's enough behavioral change to give me belief that it definitely plays a beneficial role in most cats' progress.

We would rate this product 10 stars if possible. This product solved a problem that the vets couldn’t costing us over $1000! A couple of months ago our 14 year old Snow Shoe cat started screaming at the top of his lungs numerous times night and day for no apparent reason! He would stand in front of his water bowl and scream or walk into the living room and start to scream. Then when we came up to comfort him he would stop screaming and just meow once at us. His screaming was so loud you could hear him outside 2 doors down the street! He sounded like he was being beaten! We took him numerous times to the vet with the vet doing all kinds of tests with no results as to why he was randomly screaming. He gets carsick so last week when we took him and his bonded brother to get their nails trimmed, we bought the Comfort Zone calming spray and sprayed the back of our SUV with it 15 minutes before we left hoping it would help him with his carsickness. Low and behold he never made a peep of noise and didn’t get carsick at all! The spray worked wonders. After we got home we got to thinking 🤔 if the spray worked this well, what would happen if we bought the diffusers and put them around the house? Would that, could that possibly stop him from screaming? OMG 😱 after putting 1 in the living room, 1 in the master bedroom and one in the study in 3 hours he only screamed once! Then a few hours later he had a milder screaming session. Then he COMPLETELY STOPPED SCREAMING 🙀 altogether!!! He’s back to his old self, playing with his brother, playing in the grocery bags and has gone back to talking (not screaming indiscriminately) to us when he wants something! We still don’t know why he was screaming and neither do the vets but this stuff made him stop! Now we are a much happier family and he is happy too! Soooo glad we took the chance and bought the comfort Zone diffusers! Will keep them going in the house from now on!

Can't say for sure that this diffuser was responsible (correlation doesn't equal causation, etc) but I will say that within the time I've had this, I've seen a massive reduction in problem behaviors and much more trust and relaxation between my 2 cats. My main annoyance was the leakiness of the bulbs unless you screw them in just right. Doesn't get nearly as hot as the Feliway diffuser though, which I stopped using out of fear of it being a fire hazard. This thing is plugged in all day with no issues.

Very effective but takes time My cat is much calmer and even sits next to the younger bigger male cat who she used to be so scared of

I bought this when my took British Shorthead cats fell out been ok for 4 years then boom all hell broke out was recommended this it is plugged in the room they sleep & after 3 days things have settled down,the only thing I’m not sure about we had to use an adapter to plug in & I can’t see any vapour rising & it seems to be leaking on to my floor but since thing have calmed down I’m not to worried

This is DANGEROUS!!! 15min after plugging it in, the plastic started melting, smoke and fumes all over the house!!

Usei o produto na adaptação do meu 4° gato. Posso dizer que vi diferença no comportamento de dois, apenas um que demorou mais para aceitar o novinho. 75% de eficiência é um pouco triste pelo valor.

Product damage, never worked. It seems a problem with compatibility of the energy. Waste of money.
