The T560 Scout from Treknor is a great performing (and easy to find) map compass with a 45 degree protractor and a fixed declination scale. The great, yet still basic, map compass is perfect for any Boy Scout or Cub Scout. Dimensions: 2.5-Inch Width x 3.5-Inch Height. Weight: 1.4 Ounce (40g).

Needle is not stable

It's just "ok". The compass is compact, which is nice, and it does have declination markings and a longer neck strap than most scout compasses I've had. However the needle is not very stable and has trouble finding N sometimes. Makes it very tough when you're trying to adjust for declination.
