Botanium Hydroponic and Automatic Indoor Gardening Pot, Grey

I bought a botanium about a year ago and it was fabulous until the pump died last week. I reached out to the company through their website and they sent a replacement botanium the next day. I wasn't expecting a whole new unit and definitely not that fast, so yay!

Love this looks great and made an excellent addition to my AeroGarden collection.of course if you want to grow quantity than obviously this is not it but it will definitely decorate a space. It’s beautiful.

I planted a rare pepper plant and noticed growth was stunted. I figured like the pump stopped working since replugging it didn't restart the pump. I tested if the pump still worked by feeding it 5v 200ma and it actually still worked. I was ready to replace the pump controller with a diy solution but it started working again. Not really sure if the impeller was stuck or somehow I managed to "reset" the pump controller during testing, but its working now. Edit: Okay I figured out why it failed. The usb connector isn't soldered well (cold solder?) and I guess the water pump vibrations is enough to break the connection. I tried to resolder the SMD microUSB connector but it was way too oxidized and my solder didnt stick well, thus i ended up mangling the tiny trace pads in my attempts. Well lucky there's two supply power pads next to the USB connector, so I just ending up cutting the USB cable and soldered the two power cables (red+ and black-) on it. I might end up putting an arduino or a ESP32 so I can add cool things like a indicator LED, a BT controlled or IOT programmable schedule, and a manual pump button.

I would have given the product a 5 star review had I reviewed it a month ago. I used it to start multiple seedlings very quickly and then transferred them into pots to get them ready for the spring. Now it will no longer pump water. There is a cover over the intake for the pump that I've removed to ensure there were no blockages. The pump totally stopped less than 4 months in. I would gladly update my review to 5 stars if I had a working product.

Very nice setup for desk / office. Tried my hand at succulent seeds with the unit. Worked great for the first couple weeks then the spouts died (kind of expected this due to amount of water). Let it keep running and noticed that a little mold is now showing up on the gravel. We’ll see how it goes UPDATE: Is a nice setup/layout, however… Very hit and (mostly) miss. Tried forever to keep something alive, but no matter what I put in it the plant would shoot up for a week or so then slowly die off. Never could keep anything alive for more than a couple weeks at most. Ended up just throwing the unit away.

I have a pepper variety I have been trying to germinate in a bunch of different ways to no avail. I dropped 5 seeds into this and they all sprouted, no problem. I am a fan.

It is so elegant pot I love to have on top of my buffet shelf I can add right away to my salad dish.

I really like the size and concept. I ordered another after receiving the first (this one). It is supposed to pump water every three hours. So I have both set up of a couple days now and have never seen it pump. But I’m not watching it all day long. Today I put a piece of toilet paper in both on top of the soil. After 9 hours one piece of paper is soaked and the other is bone dry. So right not they are 50/50 on working. I have asked Amazon to send a replacement. Hopefully the new one works.

Déjà lorsque déballer la bouteille de nutriment fourni étais presque vide , okay pas très grave ça peut arriver mais lorsque branché la pompe du système ne fonctionne pas , selon les instructions elle devrais arrosé au 3:00h le substrat mais rien , Produit défectueux donc retour pour remboursement J’avoue etre tres déçu , temps perdu en plus du gaspillage de mes semences qui sont irrécupérable
