Does this shine like a gloss?

It did shine. I could not get past the smell and if it gets in your mouth it taste terrible as well. I have found several lip products at your drug store that work so much better.

I love and have been using this company’s lip balm as a stick. No longer offered. How does it compare?

I have only ever used the soft tube, and love it. I don’t think you will be disappointed although the stick maybe longer lasting
