This diffuser is well made and fits my Vivitar 283 and Pentax AF540FGZ flashes. It folds flat and takes a minimum of space in my camera bag. I liked it so much I bought 2 additional units which I use when I need multiple flashes. I highly recommend this diffuser.

With its Velcro and sizing, works great with both of my flashes, so it’s versatile in size, definitely disperses a great lighting look to my clients and gave a nice soft picture quality. It’s a priced well, the only downfall is I have dropped it and smudged black on it from my shoe, and have not found a very good way to clean that.

When it comes to photography my main interests are macro and landscape photography, so I can't really speak about how well this Altura Photo Flash Diffuser Light Softbox works for portrait photography. However, by the videos that I have seen regarding Altura Photo's flash diffuser light softboxes the results you get by using them when shooting portraits are pretty impressive! I will have to try that out soon! When I first opened my Altura Photo 6x5" Flash Diffuser Light Softbox I was impressed by how well it was made. I also liked how the strap was already attached to the Flash Diffuser Light Softbox which makes it quick and easy to put on your flash. The interior has reflective silver lining to maximize your flash output and it has grippy rubber strips that makes it hug securely around my Neewer TT560 Speedlite. The strap holds tightly around the flash with a velcro closure. The Flash Diffuser Light Softbox folds up nicely, and the storage pouch that Altura Photo includes with this flash diffuser is well made and will keep it protected as you put it in your backpack or camera bag along with all your other camera gear. I used the flash diffuser as I shot some photos of the only bloomed flower (that was beginning to shrivel) among many buds in my violet plant, and it really helped to soften the light without diminishing the fine details that were brought out by the flash. I am very happy with my purchase of Altura Photo's 6x5'' Flash Diffuser Light Softbox and IMHO I think you will be too! I am looking forward to using it this spring as I shoot many photos of insects and flowers! A few years ago I subscribed to Digital Goja's YouTube channel and have appreciated many of the videos that Izzy and Adam have made. Their genuineness and sincerity comes through as they share all of their information. Based on that, as well as on the many other good reviews, not only of this product but also regarding their good customer service, I ordered Altura Photo's 6x5'' Flash Diffuser Light Softbox with the confidence that they will offer good customer service if a problem ever does arise.

This is my first diffuser, so I don’t know how this one may compare to others, but I am extremely pleased with my purchase. The canvas material is very sturdy, I like how it is easy to attach to my flash and that the opening has strips of rubber that make sure the diffuser stays in place. Inside the diffuser is more reflective material, which I was not expecting, but this helps maximize your light. In addition the seller included a free microfiber cloth which I thought was a very nice touch— so thank you Digital Goja! This is a very nice quality product... AND a flash diffuser made a HUGE difference in my pictures. I bought the 6x5 diffuser and it eliminated that hard light from my close up shots. The lighting is so much more controlled and, for such a low price, a diffuser will step up your flash game to another level! I’m still waiting for a few more lighting items to help me get my portraits to look profesional, but for a beginner who doesn’t want to spend too much I would totally recommend this product. It is inexpensive and portable and does a great job!

This unit is ideal for portrait photography as you can get close and not dazzle the subject. The light output is soft and reduces shadows. Very easy and quick to assemble and fits most flashes. I found it great to take photos of my two year old grandchild and the light balance was near perfect. Very good value for money in my opinion.
