Will this fit the iPhone 12 Pro max?

I bought this for my son to use with his iPhone 6 for Christmas but the connections and the holders, to hold the phone in place, are not compatible with iPhone. If you have an Android you will have better luck. I felt so bad, I bought the oculus from Amazon for $200 more and worth every penny!

I have a splendor android so is this ready to use right out the box?

I had a few issues trying to make it work with my Android S8+, that said it's not as good as I'd liked. I'm not familiar with your Android device so I can't say if the VR unit is ready to use right out of the box.
