Best pencil sharpener
You don’t know what you’re missing until you try this 2 step sharpener. There are two sharpeners - one for the wood and the other for the lead. I collect pencils from the top brands around the world and using this sharpener makes them extraordinarily sharp. Best of the best and I’ve tried them all.

It’s a whole new woorrrllldddd
This was an item I was struggling to buy because it seemed goofy to spend more than $5 on a sharpener. The first try with my Blackwing pencil and I immediately knew it was worth it. Totally blew my expectations and I will now have to sharpen pencils this way for the rest of my life… Just buy it

Nice enough sharpener
Does the job well. The hinge for the clear cover is pretty flimsy, and only lasted about a month of use. Still sharpens fine. Just discovered it has spare blades, which is a surprise bonus.

HOLY SMOKES THIS THING IS GREAT
If you have ever said to yourself, "Man, I sure would love to be the kind of person that uses nice writing tools" then you have heard of the Blackwing 602. This corvette of pencils is fantastic on its own, but using a run of the mill sharpener is like putting 87 in it and not changing the tires. This sharpener is the tool needed to keep your Blackwing 602 or any other fine lead-based writing implement in top condition. Like the proverb says, "if I had 6 hours to chop down a tree, I'd spend the first 5 sharpening the ax", this pencil sharpener is like sharpening the ax. I sit down and don't even know what to write but it makes me want to just put something on a page. 10/10 would recommend.

Sharp.
I was torn between this and the black one-step but chose this one because… 1. I love how the white and gold went with my new pearl Blackwing pencils 2. Quality German steel blades 3. Seemed lightweight and compact enough for my computer backpack 4. Easier to empty the shavings than the black one-step Does it sharpen better than my other sharpener? Not really. Am I surprised the lid isn’t hinged? Yeah, but not a big deal. [Update: it is hinged I was just opening it from the wrong side]. Overall, I’m happy with this purchase. BTW, just learned from another review there are spare blades—I hadn’t even noticed them!

Didn’t realize how much I needed this
Love everything about this handy sharpener. I am an art student and these bad boy sharpens evenly and crisply to a point. Exposes more graphite (lead) for better control in mark making.

Not sure what I was expecting paying 15€ for a sharpener. Sadly all plastic but the blades. Yes it has a rubbery finish. No it does not close completely, so you have to empty it if you do not want graphite in your bag. Yes says Blackwing on the side. Would not buy again.

Don't ever try to purchase this sharpener from blackwing! I got mind and just after 1 week it stopped sharpening, the hole got bigger so when I tried to unscrew the screw, it came out with plastic. They said they might fix it or replace it if its really their fault but since I already paid for it around 30 euro with delivery I decided not to pay more just to hear that somehow I might have use too much force. I found the same looking sharpener from KUM for 5 euro. It is IDENTICAL. The blades have KUM brand in both of them, the only difference is the BRAND Blackwing. Please do not waste your money on this, you can really buy cheaper, better stuff. This is a joke :(
