Roald Dahlは、本当に素晴らしい！この本全ての話は、2行ずつ、文章の最後の音が韻を踏んで、詩のように書かれています。ものすごいブラックジョークの効いた話ですので、あまり深刻にしかめっ面をして読まないで、笑い飛ばして読んで下さい。イギリス人はこういうのが大好きです。私は特にその中でも、次の２つが大好きで大笑いしながら読みました。 The Ant-Eaterと The Tummy Beast。前者は、ものすごいブラックジョークな展開が笑えて（そうきたか！という感じ）、後者も子供ってこういうこと言うよね～と思わせて、実は･･･(笑)シュールな結末。本当にRoald Dahlという人は、最高な作家だなと思います。日本では、子供が英語で理解するには難しいけど、大人には楽しめる本の一冊ではないでしょうか？もう一度、言います。真面目にとらえて、読まないでください！童心に戻って、読まれることをオススメします！(@^▽^@) あ、あとたくさんの作品で彼とタグを組んでいるイラストレーターのQuentin Blakeも、Roald Dahlの話を忠実に表現していて見ても楽しめる、このコンビは最強です！(*⌒▽⌒*)
