Review: Best bag ever. Best value and no compromise on features - This is by far my favorite day pack I’ve ever owned. First of all, the Osprey brand is known for quality construction. Whenever you purchase something made by Osprey you can rest assure it will hold up against time and if not, they back all their products with an outstanding warranty. I made a trip to Puerto Rico earlier this year and needed a bag that I could lug around with me throughout the day while keeping my gear organized and forcing me to travel fairly light. I debated on a lot of other options before landing on this one. I am not disappointed. There’s a laptop sleeve a large main pocket a small top pocket water bottle holders expandable stuffed pouch in a small outer pocket on that. Main reason I got this is because it had both a chest strap and adjustable waist strap. The main pocket has one of those quick clap mounting points for a water bladder. I was able to fit so much stuff with me while still traveling light but had everything I needed for a day in the city and on the beach at the same time. Also, one of the pockets has small organization pouches within it, along with a leash for your wallet or keys. The color is fantastic and I deliberately went with something lighter colored to avoid baking too much in the heat and sun. The size is also perfect for a personal item on an airplane fits nicely underneath the seat in front. The zippers have nice finger holes for easy opening, but I also attach a small S Beaner for extra protection against big pocketing. When researching bags I was originally looking for something ultralight and super collapsible while this one does not collapse or fold into itself is still quite portable and packable on its own with great support. Sure it was a little bit more expensive than competition, but I have no regrets because it’s outstanding quality and checked all the boxes.

**Q: Has anyone taken this on a plane as a carry-on? Fit in a standard airline overhead compartment easily? (been flagged in the past for too LG carryon)**
A: I’ve taken this bag on domestic and international trips.  It fits in all overhead compartments easily as well as under the seat in front of you as long as it’s not packed to the max.

**Q: Is this bag waterproof?**
A: The bag is water resistant. It should repel rain for a little while, but at a certain point it will saturate and get wet inside. But you could put a waterproof rain cover over it to fully protect from rain.

**Q: Does the pack have any reflective strips or material?**
A: Yes it does. The brand logo on top and the daylite plus words are reflective although not obvious because they're very thin font.

**Q: Does this version have a back panel pocket for the hydration bladder?**
A: Not specifically. There is a slim pocket to put a lap top, so if you weren't using it for that purpose, you might be able to use that to fit a hydration bladder.

Whenever you purchase something made by Osprey you can rest assure it will hold up against time and if not, they back all their products with an outstanding warranty.
