How do i add this f1 to steam boiler? can i add it through an air vent hold on a radiator? thanks

My boiler isn’t steam, it’s hot water. But the directions that I was given was to remove/drain all of the current water in the system completely after the boiler has cooled off. Then add the cleaner. Now what I did was to add a shark bite “T”and poured it into the system as I didn’t have another other place to put it in. Then I removed the “T” and replaced it with a coupler. But on a steam system I would think that you could add it to your radiator top vent and put it in then refill the system. After it’s refilled your going to run it if a few days. I’m doing mine a little longer, like 10 days. So during that time the chemical is going to move around and clean the system. Just make sure you turn off the boiler before you start doing any work on it. I hope that this helps
