This item will probably work more effectively with a lamp that has dimmer compatible bulbs. My lamp does not have dimmable bulbs but it does work, but it basically dims to 2 settings, low dim and a brighter dim. If I have the dial in middle then my bulb flickers so I just stick to the low dim setting in the evenings for watching TV etc.

I was looking for an affordable e switch to control a fan. Couldn’t find one, so used this plugged in to the e switch.

Not good at all, only lasted over a year, and only used a handful of times due to light not being used much.

Used for a fan, the button to adjust the power level was lose and would only activate the fan if I held in with my finger, being and electrical device I could not trust it so in the bin it went.

Just right for the dim lol

Works well and as expected for a normal lamp. They draw less that half an amp of current.However, I bought it for a light set that draws 3A and it gets very hot with that sort of current throughout.So hot that I opted to turn it off rather than risk a fire.
