Plus, the convenient size allowed it to be flown at large parks and sports fields and transported easily without disassembly. Now the T-28 has been updated and upgraded to be more powerful, more capable, and more fun to fly than ever before! Review: Love this thing! - Great flying plane. My personal recommendations: Go 4s, I started with some 3S and the 4S is so much more fun/satisfying. Get out of "safe mode" as quick as you can if you are a new pilot. I practiced a bit in a sim which helped, but its great really flying this thing. I had to give it some manual up elevator to trim it out. There were not enough clicks on the radio. Finally get bigger tires. It will fly off short grass. but the front gear gets bent and I have a stress crack in the plastic near the front gear I am currently repairing (I'll be fine). I just picked up some apprentice tires, they fit on the gears fine and hope to give them a go this weekend.

**Q: does plane require smart battery or can you use regular lipo battery**
A: Any 3 or 4s 2200mah lipo with an ec3 or ic3 plug will work. Also has a smart esc and will give you pack telemetry on your transmitter screen which is a great feature!

**Q: retrack gearyes or no**
A: No, but their is a t28 model that has retracts. It costs around 100.00 more. Amazon has it+++

Great flying plane. My personal recommendations: Go 4s, I started with some 3S and the 4S is so much more fun/satisfying. Get out of "safe mode" as quick as you can if you are a new pilot.
