2 x Toilet Cistern Diaphragm Washers For Ball Float Valve - 32mm Diameter Rubber

My toilet cistern has been filling super slow for months and I assumed I would have to replace the whole filler part. Button be honest I couldn't even find the same type to purchase and thought I would have to take the whole toilet cistern apart to fit a different type of filler system. I watched a YouTube video that suggested the issue could be a well worn diaphragm washer and these looked from the picture and measured the same diameter as mine. So I thought I would give them a go. What seems to happen us that over time the rubber washer diaphragm stretches and making it wider (only 2-3mm or so) so it blocks more of the flow of filling water. The old one measured 8mm thickness and the new one 5mm. After replacement instead of my cistern taking over 30 mins to fill. It now takes around a minute. Perfect. Functions great now and 2 of these cost a fraction of a new filler system. And I fitted it in about 2 minutes.
