Very well made,good threaded connector for a pole works great cleaning my ceiling fans

I purchased this duster to assist in cleaning ceiling fans, especially those in my vaulted ceilings. When it came it was a little hard to bend but was able to get it into the shape I needed. I had previously bought the 30 Foot-High Reach Duster Kit/with extension pole by Extend-A Reach. It seems one needs to use that pole for the threading was different, when I tried threading it onto another extension pole. I deducted one star for loss of swapability although it does state one can use other poles. Other than that it's a great microfibre duster. Heavy material that looks and feels durable. Have not washed it yet.

When I first got this attachment for my Extend-a-Reach pole, I thought it was great. I have arthritis in my hands, so the duster is a little bit hard to take off and put back on after washing, but that's not the part that made me write this review. Now that I've had it almost 6 months and my housekeeper has used it at least once per month, I realize that the bright orange color is a disaster! I have white ceiling fans and blades, and the edge of the fan blade that the "crook" of the duster swipes is orange on every fan blade. It's difficult to see in the picture of the entire fan, but in the closeup of one of the blades the orange is visible. Every fan blade is like that. Luckily, I sew, and I've made light yellow microfiber covers for the two duster attachments I purchased. See 3rd picture for one of the covers I made. This fix has solved the problem of the too-tight cover that comes with the product. In my opinion, the manufacturer should design their removable cover similarly, with a Velcro wrap that will keep the cover on, but allow the opening to expand easily. Anyway, the covers are easy to make, easy to wash, and the right color, but this fix added to my cost for the product. Now I just need to get up there on a ladder and try to get the orange off the fan blade edges. This defeats the purpose of purchasing a pole and attachments, which was meant to do away with climbing a ladder. For anyone with dark fan blades, you should be OK.

Excellent and easy to clean

This tool worked fine for catching cobwebs and dusting baseboards, but it was ridiculously difficult to remove the cover to wash, and nearly impossible to put it back on. I carved down the width by 1/4", but still it wasn't easy. Then I remembered how to put rubber galoshes over children's shoes by putting a plastic bag over each shoe first. I wrapped the (now carved up) rubber blade with plastic wrap, and voila! The cover slid right on. So I recommend reaching for a box of plastic wrap instead of the mat knife, tin snips and scissors I initially tried.

Fantastic on ceiling fans no more ladders

I like that it is washable and it actually does attract the dust to the brush, but the brush is not the easiest thing to use and takes some maneuvering to get all the fan blades, particularly as they move (yes I turned the fan off first). But its still like swinging at a piñata.

Great item. Very durable flexible, and soft.

Worked well for dusting lights, walls and ceiling fans, attaches to extention pole for long reach.
