Installation was easy. It requires a 1" inlet and outlet, some plumbing modification may be required. This is a very well made product. Changing filters is quite simple. Since installing this filter our water is crystal clear with no sediment or odor. Have only had this filter for about a month so don't know yet how long these filters will last, but so far so good. This product seems well worth the money. Would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants good clean water.

This single-component water filter (with multiple stages internally) easily handles all the water we use in a four bedroom home for 12 months, and is really simple to install and to replace the one cartridge. There are 3 different versions of it, depending on the quality of water in your area, and although it's quite pricey upfront it really only costs about a buck a day for tap-drinkable water. I'm using the 910R mounted outside near tanks and a pump in Bangkok (Thailand), where the tap water is virtually undrinkable, and this filter cleans it perfectly and gives us safe water throughout the house. An excellent solution from 3M.
