Going with the ryzen 5 3600 instead of the 2700x. how is this ram for the 3600?

I have run this DDR3600 both on the Ryzen 3700X (MSI X470 Carbon Pro) and 2600X (MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX) and it runs at the advertised speed using the XMP Profile set in BIOS perfectly. The 16-19-19-39 @ 1.5V is a reliable/fast/cost efficient performer and is broadly compatible with Zen 1 and Zen 2 motherboards and CPUs. I didn't see this in a 2x16GB configuration, but the 16GB of this kit I can highly recommend. Have built over 1,000 computers in the past decades.

Will this work on a asus rog strix x470-f?

Yes, I have it installed on my Asus ROG Strix X470-F (BIOS 5406) and it is running at 3733 MHz with these timings 16-19-19-19-36-56 with tRFC at 489. I ran them at with the 3600 DOCP profile also before I OC'd them to 3733. They are 100% stable.

will it work with ryzen 7 2700X?

yes it will work but probably not at ddr4-3600 speed. you might get ddr4-3466 if you are lucky or just ddr4-3200.

will these work with ryzen 5 5600x? I cannot find them on an motherboard QVL.
