Amazon Basics 3D Printer Filament, 1.75 mm, 1 kg Spool (2.2 lbs), Silk Silver

Fantastic filament. I purchased the silver and it printed really well on my Ender 3 V3 SE and the prints (which are parts for Obi Wan's episode 1 and 2 lightsaber) have a fantastic finish. Would recommend and will be buying again.

Loving the Silk Copper, looks great when used in combination with Black Prints. Consistent, stable with a nozzle at 200c and the bed at 65c. Love the metallic sheen. Have been getting a bit of minor stringing at the start of a print, easily fixed by pausing, cleaning up and from then on it all great. I have been printing at Precision to get the best possible finish. It is exceptional value for money, and I used the Silk Silver and Silk Gold for Christmas decorations.

Good quality, feels rigid enough. Prints fine with generic PLA profile on the Bambu p1s. Adheres to the base file too. Really nice shine in one direction, slightly more dull when viewed from the other direction but still a nice filament for printing.

This was my 1st spool I bought after using some of the free sample included with my 3d printer. I found the adhesion to be slightly inferior that what i had previously used. I adjusted a few settings ( lowered the Z axis) and heated the print bed a little more and it all seems to wok perfectly. It might be worth keeping note on every brand of filament so you can fine tune it next time you use it. I did find it was wound slightly badly and got tangled at 1st, but that soon cleared up. The Silver is a great finish and colour. I've had not blockages so far and I'm about half way thru. Like I say, my only note would be to keep the temperature nice and warm when using.

First Impressions - was concerned at the start of the print due to the very strong stringing even at 190C and some lumps of filament on the strings, but the print didn't fail though. 1. Product title properties saying PLA, while product description ( with nice marketing images ) says TPU. I am confused. 2. Just tried to print stringing test and it looked terrible with very brittle spikes. 3. Set another print see bad stringing and underextrusion. Before that was using an alternative filament for the same price and had no issues 😕

We always buy the Amazon basics filament. It just works.
