I bought these for teaching a chemistry class, and they came as expected. They were larger than I imagined, but they are accurately sized. Probably a little under a foot high. The numbers were easy to read, and I appreciated the sturdy plastic to use for a classroom of kids. Having a bulk set was a good value for the money.

Very difficult to find measuring devices that are accurate in measuring small amounts of oil. Most are too large for precise measurements. These cylinders are perfect.

Two out of four of these plastic 500ml graduated cylinders arrived broken, and not just chipped here or there, but with the bases almost completely crushed. One of the two broken cylinders also had the cylinder cracked and broken at the base. Because the shipping carton looked completely undented and with adequate packing materials inside I have to assume that these cylinders were broken during handling and/or storage at Amazon's warehouses. This could have easily happened and go unnoticed to the warehouse crew because the cylinders were packed in a bubble wrap bag that obscured visibility of potential breakage during storage and handling. But for the two cylinders that were not broken, I actually like them and am getting good use out of them. They have the graduations molded on one side and are printed on the opposite side with excellent visibility. The major materials issue involved is the manufacturer utilizing a relatively cheap and brittle PP plastic resin instead of paying slightly more for a flexible resin that is resistant to breakage. Unfortunately, Amazon does not make it easy for me to return for a partial refund just the two out of the 4-Pack. I'd have to return all four of them. So no, I won't bother doing that.
