No they are not individually wrapped. I bought a 25 lb tub and only 1 tab was broken in half. There were 48 tabs in the tub.

How many tablets should I use for 11,000 gallons

It all depends on weather/heat and water test results, I live in Texas and in hot summer weather with temperatures above 95F you will need to add 5 (3" tablets) in your In-line Automatic Chemical Feeder every week and set the dial control valve to 5. You will still need to shock your pool once a week in most cases.

anyone use these in a large outdoor swamp cooler? (wondering if i can in my Hessaire MC37M to prevent mold/etc)

I’m sure the chlorine will kill the organism that causes the mold.

Can you use these tablets in a pool chlorinator? I do not have the floatation type.

I used them in an in-line Chlorinator, however they dissolve quite rapidly.
