I loved that it was super easy to rip, didn’t need any scissors. The stickiness is to a whole new level, so just make sure your tape doesn’t restick to the tape while you’re pulling it. It took my two tries before I finally managed to just rip the tape , stick it to the carpet and then take out the plastic! Works great! And for the price is a win win!

This works great! In March 2023 I used it for a 2'x6' runner rug (outlined the rug with the tape). The rugs purpose was for my 3 large breed dogs to jump on and off a bed without sliding on the ceramic tile. In addition to the 3 80+ pound dogs using as a launch/landing pad numerous times a day, the rug is vacuumed almost daily with a Dyson vacuum and a few times a year I use a rug cleaner on the carpet. Almost 3 years now and the tape has never lifted, or had to be replaced. I've recommended this tape to many others, and will continue to recommend.

Works great holds the carpet good

All I can say is this stuff works great and it does not leave any residue on your floor. Easy to apply and easy to remove. Application takes a little practice because it's very sticky. But once you get it on your rugs they stay as flat as the desert! And they stay down no matter what.

Making sure I cleaned the floor thoroughly and vacuumed the bottom of the rug prior to application, this tape serv e it's purpose quite well. I put the tape on the bottom of the rug, pressed into it with a plastic tool (anything rounded should work) to make sure the tape was bonded to the fibers and uneven surface of the carpet, then removed the film on the tape and pressed the carpet into the floor. This really helps against lateral movement (side to side), and works fairly well against perpendicular movement (lifting the rug up). Overall in my case I would have like it if the tape was marginally thicker but I understand for thin rugs that would not be ideal. The rug has been lifted off the tape but did stick back down ok.
