After a 15 year hiatus, I was inspired by my son's custom built PC to once again construct a PC from components. I noted that my new (to me) 2021-era Gigabyte motherboard for 10th/11th gen Intel has LED strip power connections so I purchased this BTF LED lighting kit to add some bling to the inside of my case. This kit came with everything I needed, although I wish that the adapter that fit my Gigabyte motherboard was a black coaxial cable and not the red/green/white 3-conductor wire (a minor quibble). Considering that you get 2 LED strips plus multiple connector cables, the price is fair. I like these LED light strips because they can be easily cut to specific lengths which adds versatility and flexibility. Also the LEDs are exposed so there is nothing to remove if you want to solder to the built-in copper pads. If you can solder and have a light touch, you can create a custom solution that best fits your PC case. The LED strips have double-sided adhesive foam tape pre-applied for ease of installation. I cleaned the mounting areas inside my case with denatured alcohol prior to installation for best adhesion. For my mATX case, I chose to install the LED strips along 2 of the inside edges of the case. The LEDs are hidden from view from outside the case but provide a nice glow. It looks great and is exactly what I was looking for.

BTF makes some greag LED lighting products. I've bought probably 7 or 8 different rolls of LEDs and multiple specialized products these strips. The lights are bright, color accurate, and I have never had one fail on me. The only downside which makes the attractive price of these products not as attractive at the end of the day, is the double stick tape that comes on the back. Not every BTF product comes with the tape, but these strips do. And the tape sticks to nothing other than the plastic strip protecting it. It instantly falls off whatever you stick it to, taking the whole strip with it. It barely even sticks to the product, which ends up being a good thing. This isn't only a BTF issue though, just about every single product out there like this has garbage sticky tape. There are many with far worse than what BTF uses but it still won't get the job really done for you. Instantly pull this crap off the strip, doesnt take much effort at all maybe 10 seconds, and get some real 3M VHB foam double stick tape to replace it. Amazon has all sorts of widths and lengths on here, just make sure it is *real* 3M product. There are several people selling knockoffs. If it is the cheapest in the search results, it probably aint real. Even still, a good real 3M roll will only set you back maybe $12-15 and you'll have plenty to use on all the other BTF LED products you'll inevitably buy to go along with these.

Fair price. Wiring is a bit long but still a good deal

Great product, bright, and relatively easy to install provided you know your way around PC hardware. Lights up on its own but can be customized if you have the ASUS software (ASUS motherboard), I'm not sure about iCUE. There appears to be some complaints about the adhesion, but I found none or can use tack with wiring --- noting the adhesion works best on the metal pieces. UPDATE You can use iCUE but not the ASUS Armory together (only one or the other). However, you may be limited with iCUE's selections (meaning some may not work), iCUE works better with Memory/Fans.

I am pretty happy with my buy, at the beginning I thought I was getting a low quality strips becouse of its look and price but now im totally satisfied with these strips, they are good quality, has good lightning and ease to install. I would totally recomend it.

Great rgb strips bright and flow quite well. The only complaint is the double sided tape isn’t all that good for that reason I give them 4 stars.
