It definitely cuts down on the glare. I have very sensitive eyes and no visor I've ever had has cut the glare enough to make me comfortable when I'm driving into the sun. It's sturdy, and doesn't rattle when you're driving or fall off the car visor if you hit a bump. **Q: My glare guard is disconnecting at the metal hinge and then it falls apart. The screws do not tighten. What do I do to tighten and reconnect it?** A: It’s simple, and you don’t need superglue. You need two flat screwdrivers (or a putty knife and flat screwdriver) and two hands. Use a flat screwdriver to hold the screw in the back of the visor stationary. Use a 2nd flat screwdriver on the front of the visor, turning the front screw clockwise to tighten.
