TRAE CAJA EL ARTICULO PERO EL HABERLO PUESTO EN SOBRE SE DESCISO LA CAJA Y LLEGO TODO SUELTO DENTRO DEL SOBRE AFORTUNADAMENTE LLEGO BIEN, SON FIERROS, PARA UN FUTURO SEAN MAS PRECAVIDOS EN EL ENVÍO QUE SEA EN UN ENSAMBLAJE MAS FIRME PARA QUE NO SE DEFORME, SOLO IMAGINE SE ROMPE EL SOBRE Y SE PIERDE LO QUE TRAE EN EL INTERIOR, AUN ASÍ ESTOY CONFORME CON EL PRODUCTO

I bought these brake pads through Amazon since they were so much cheaper than my local Subaru dealership. I had them installed by a mechanic. He did not have any problems with the install. They seem to be just as good as my original pads. I haven't any complaints. Seems good to me!

I bought these brake pads at a fraction of the price I would at the dealer. Easy install and our Subaru is running perfectly with new shoes!

SUBARU PARTS WAREHOUSE delivered these parts promptly, at a very fair price. I REPEAT: This review is about Subaru - NOT about the SELLER - who was GREAT ! I feel the Subaru Company itself let me down. In the kit are two different plastic bags of lubricant/grease. One is Copper-Colored; the other Black. There are no installation guidelines, and the bags are unmarked. Furthermore, the quantity of lubricant provided is very stingy. After a wasted hour of research I discovered the identification of these: Grease: Molykote M7439 (Part No. 003602001) - Used on the Stainless Steel Pad Clips/Glides - COPPER COLORED Grease: Molykote AS880N (Part No. K0777YA010) - Used on the Pad Shims - BLACK COLORED Furthermore, assembling all the different Shims onto the Pads, while greasing them all up, is a PITA. They fall off, get dirty from the shop floor, need to be cleaned, greased again, fall off again..... I might expect this kludge from some aftermarket donkeys, but am aghast Subaru can't figure out a way to have these assembled from the factory. Worst of all, while one wheel went smoothly, the other developed into a two-hour nightmare. I finally discovered one of the Upper Pad Clips was malformed, and would not assemble onto the Caliper completely. I ended up using the old one. Why was this Pad Clip damaged ? Defective from the factory or damaged in shipping ? Keep in mind they are fairly fragile, and due to no cushioning provided by Subaru, have been bouncing around in the box, battered by heavy brake pads, for thousands of miles. All in all, I feel I wasted my money buying OEM from Subaru. I paid extra for OEM, expecting an easy experience. Instead this developed into the worst Brake Job in years, most of which I've done with cheap aftermarket components. Components which had instructions when necessary, were properly packed from the factory to prevent damage, and installed with ease.
