No wire behind the digital display. Is this a fault and should I return item?.

It is a sealed unit behind the digital display, so I cannot see any wiring.

What unit is the distance measures? Kilometres or Miles?

Good question, I have been unable to decipher the unit of distance but as I exercise based on time and calorie burn it doesn't matter to me. The instruction leaflet is very unclear on this point. I do think however that it is a good piece of kit, particularly for those with limited mobilty or , as is my case, recovering from injury.

Hi can I change the peddles as I need a wider peddle?
