Brilliant, perfect for Oculus Quest!
I originally bought an Anker 3.0 USB cable but then realised it was a bit short for VR at 10ft. I ordered a USB extension lead to make it 16ft, but then I just got constant disconnects every few seconds. Then I found this cable, which is a single cable and really long. Works perfectly as 3.0 USB for Oculus Quest, and it’s a slim cable, like the one you get with the Quest. The Anker one I bought was thicker, with less give, so I always felt like I was attached to something. This is much more lightweight and better to use.

Works with Quest in Link mode
I have this connected to a PCIe USB c (sata powered) expansion card. As advertised, it does allow the Quest to connect to PC, whilst providing a small amount of charging power. The power charge is modest. For example, when I connected my S9+ (which was at 50% power) using this cable it reported 2hrs 45 mins until full. Repeating this with a shorter USB c (4 metres) and the same phone reported 1 hr 25 mins. This is what I expected and is simply the nature where longer cables are concerned. The cable itself has a couple of velcro ties, and seems to be of good quality

Good price, decent quality, a bit too thick
The cable is definitely good for the price, long and sturdy. It works well with a 3.0 usb C slot, however it is pretty stiff and prone to tangling. Overall for the price, its a good cable, it works with my quest, just make sure to have an appropriate usb C port to plug it into

Works with Quest II perfectly.
I bought this as a link cable for my new Quest II. The cable transmits Data and power perfectly. I use a USB A to C adapter in my USB 3 socket on the PC and another 2m extension cord at the headset end and it works! If you do not have a USB C socket on the PC you have to make sure that you plug the cable in to the adapter the right way round or you will only get USB 2 speeds. The cable is light but strong and flexible. I can now use the space in my living room for VR but leave my PC in the office. Brilliant!

Faulty end
The end of the cable that connects to the computer doesn't get properly attached into place, it wobbles in there, which causes the computer to stop detecting the cable every time there is a subtle movement. I thought it could be a problem on the port of my laptop, but I tried the cable on another computer and the issue was still there, so it is definitely an issue with the cable.

Very good length, but poor connectors
The cable length is perfect and when it works this cable performs admirably, supporting USB 3.1 and charging for the Quest. However the connectors are not very robust, and I suffered from intermittent disconnects as a result. For some reason the PC side connector is made from a soft rubber and has a lot of play. From the other reviews it seems people didn't have a problem, so maybe I just got a defective cable. But I think based on the softness of the connector (not very durable), I won't be getting a replacement.

Works great and good quality
Very happy with this product. Good quality cable, feels well made and Testing the cable on oculus indicated I was getting a transfer speeds of 1.9GBs so I haven’t had any problems with the cable. Also keeps the quest topped up while playing so vastly increases play time. Also the length is great. Very happy with it

Oculus Quest PC-VR - tethered to PC laptop - it works
Quite a few cables advertised as supporting Quest charge+tether don't really manage. All depends on the power and data-rate available from your USB-C port. This one worked out of the box with 1 Oculus f/w update Charge speed while playing seems not much slower than standalone charging with supplied PSU and cable. Tethered fine in Rift mode for Oculus and SteamVR games, and hit perfectly acceptable frame-rates cf VIVE Cosmos & Rift-S. Slim, flexible cable with adequate velcro ties supplied for strain-relief and easy removal. I'd always add more velcro ties - they're seldom a bad idea. I'll update this review if it breaks, but I have a good feeling: there are more robust cables out there but they are heavy and in my experience more prone to damage via kinking, as well as more likely to damage the USBC jacks on the headset or laptop. 6m makes the actual overall cable length from the PC the same as VIVE + link-box cables - that extra 1m over the Rift-S cable makes a huge difference in use with a laptop, and again reduces risk of damage to laptop jacks. nb - the 8m cable-sets sold here all require a 5V DC input 3m from teh headset to deliver the necessary power. Which makes this one a steal IF you have the correct spec on your USB-C port - CHECK CAREFULLY!!

Using this to tether an r5 to the computer. Working great. Connects at 10gb speeds. I'm a little concerned about durability, but I've used it on a couple shoots now and it's been pretty good. Doesn't work consistently with a 15' usb-c repeater though.

It does not work at all. 20 ft cable was great unfortunately it does not charge the oculus. Guess ill just use my old extension cord instead. Looks like that country got the better of me… dont let it happen to you. Avoid this product!

Bought this as a longer cable than the factory one. Brand new Quest 2, this cable didnt even power up the unit. Before you think video card, EVGA 2070 Super and EVGA Platinum 850W PS. Factory cable works flawless. This is not compatible with Quest2.
