Wow I now have 2 of those used with win8.1 great production ! Really precised touchscreen. I use them with a intense lighting software with only touch gestures.

Much better quality than expected. No issues with it (yet)

It's a crisp display with reliable touch and solid build. The colors are good and it has a nice wide viewing angle. When unlocked, it's easy to inadvertently activate the screen's menu control and power buttons at the lower right of the screen. Fortunately these can be locked so that this is not a problem. As of Sept 1, 2019, Pi 4 with the default Raspbian required a small configuration tweak to get the touchscreen to work well. (Append 'usbhid.mousepoll=0' as a boot parameter in /boot/cmdline.txt. This also fixed a problem with another mouse. Other linux setups may or may not require something similar.) With that change, the touch screen works perfectly in chromium browser and other apps that expect multitouch input. It also works fine with non-multitouch apps (though I haven't yet figured how to turn on right mouse button emulation for those apps). Overall, this makes a very nice desktop monitor. It's not super portable because it can't easily be powered by a battery (it requires AC), and it's also a little heavy. But it's a good desktop touch screen. I recommend it and may buy a second one.

I bought this as a second monitor. I have a triple monitor setup, the main monitor is a Dell touchscreen. This Planar screen is a little smaller and I bought a "post" type extendible arm which extends the monitor *right off my desk* and hovering just beside my mouse hand. OMG its amazing. My only criticism about the screen is the control buttons. They are touch sensitive on the bezel and impossible to see. You will accidentally turn off your monitor if you have to handle or position it. Hardware buttons on the underside would have been better. EDIT: Upgraded from four stars to five. This monitor deserves more than four stars, the only option is to give it five.
