Expiration date appears on end of box as two digit month & and four digit year, ie. 01 2023. And on the fold at the bottom of the tube as two digit month & a two digit year, ie. 01 23.

It tastes like lentil?

No, it tastes like mint and fennel, like minty licorice. It says the size of a lentil is enough to apply to your toothbrush because it is a concentrate.
