These counters are great for many things, very versatile. They are bright colors and perfect for small hands. Most of them can stand and it includes mom, dad, brother, sister, baby and dog. We use it for acting out books we read, to sort, count, and create patterns. It is a great toy that is durable and enjoyable.

I bought these for sandtray therapy. It turns out they are commonly used for sandtray therapy. It's nice having 4 families' worth of people. Since their faces are blank, they can represent any feelings. Very nice.

I purchased these to use for an offrenda (a Mexican celebration for Day of the Dead where a table is set up with photos of loved ones who have passed away. There is generally a nice tablecloth, sugar skulls, photos, rosaries and other related items) that I am making for a friend. The figures would have many uses, but I plan to spray paint them gold with a plastic compatible paint. I will glue “angel wings” on them to place among the photos, candles, crosses, sugar skulls, etc. These figures took a craft spray paint very well! I got glued winds on each figure. The were beautiful angels among the items of the agenda! I took a photo of the larger female photo for size reference. There was no smell at all to the plastic figures. The colors and sizes are true to description. I am in my “golden years”, so other than small children - for choking reasons - I don’t see any age limits! I hope that I can get some photos of the offrenda when it is completed!

These family counters are exactly like they appear in the photo. They are small, plastic, 3D, generic family figures representing a mom, dad, sister, brother, baby, and cat. They are generic enough that a child could interpret them as other family members, e.g. two moms, two brothers, etc. They work as counters or small toys, as they're only 1-3 inches big (depending on the figure, the adults are larger than the kids, the baby and cat are smallest). They can be used for a sorting, matching, or counting activity, or even just for imaginative play about people/families/etc. They're vinyl plastic and they're durable but not bendable. Some do not stand up on their own because of how their bodies are positioned, but that doesn't matter when using them as counters. Also, since they are plastic, they are easy to rinse off and clean. I bought a pack of these for the PreK unit All About Us, which focuses on families. I put these in my math manipulatives center to tie the family theme into math counting, sorting, and matching activities.

It’s great to use as math as you count the people like figures.Colorful size and shape make it easy for kids to hold these.I got two sets as well .Great value for the price.Durability as my kids like to throw around toys.

Ho comprato questi personaggi, belli e di buona qualità, per gestire il lavoro di gruppo dei miei alunni di scuola primaria. Grazie ai quattro diversi colori, i bambini estraggono un personaggio e ai dividono in gruppi, o li usano come segnalino nei giochi di gruppo. Ai bambini piacciono moltissimo, li consiglio vivamente per la loro versatilità

Perfect for open-ended play! My 2 and 4 year old have been enjoying building block houses for their little families and making up stories with them. I'm planning on using these for play-doh, kinetic sand, and sensory bin time as well. It would be nice if all of the figures stood up on their own, but they're great otherwise

Tengo tres pequeños de 1 a 5 años y me viene genial para que aprendan a discriminar colores, formas, familias, tamaños y a clasificarlos y discriminar según forma, tamaño o color. También tengo las casitas de learning resources de colores en los que cabe perfectamente cada familia. Vienen presentados en una bolsa de plástico transparente poco presentable para regalo pero apto para uso propio, e incluye un total de 4 familias con 6 muñecos de cada color (rojo, azul, amarillo y verde) en forma de padre, madre, hermano, hermana, bebé y perro. Se pueden formar diferentes tipos de familias monoparentales, heterosexuales, homosexuales, etc... para que el niño se sienta identificado con su familia o cualquier familia que conozca. Los muñecos son de plástico duro bastante resistentes. Aunque esta marca me encanta y sus juguetes suelen ser caros, este me parece muy adecuado de precio sobre todo por su calidad, su durabilidad y todo el juego que dan usando la imaginación y el juego de imitación y de roles. El paquete llegó en el tiempo estimado sin incidencias. Volvería a comprarlo sin duda. Espero haberte sido útil!!
