The Draytek 166 is a modem which will convert a copper based DSL standard to Ethernet. In the case of the 166 the DSL services are VDSL2 and G.fast. The 166 device HAS NO FIBRE CONNECTIVITY. I am not familiar with ee fibre 900 but I have installed an ee 4G router and this simply offered an Ethernet port for output. I think you will find that whatever hardware ee gives you will offer Ethernet as its output. If the ee device is not suitably capable in terms of Ethernet routing, VLANs, QoS, firewall etc. then you would simply need to add a downstream router, the AX12 would do that very expensively!
