I have STRAIGHT hair. It's made it where I wash my hair less, and when it's time to - I dread it. I know that it's going to take a while to get the tangles out, and then I'm going to have to blowdry/smooth frizzies ( I do have an Airwrap, and I try to let it just dry on it's own as much as possible to avoid damage), and its just depressing, lol. I found a different brush that said it was good for detangling and I thought I loved it, and I did until my best friend who is a stylist showed me this brush. I literally ordered it the same day, got it the next day and used it the same day I got it and OOOOH MY! What would take probably 10 minutes before to detangle my hair literally took like 3 minutes. I couldn't believe it. There was no pain (and I do have a very tender scalp), no pulling - it just WORKS and works very well! I'm not sure how it works on hair with curls, but I can vouch for straight hair, overprocessed hair, colored hair - for people with tender scalps, easily-tangled hair - those who are on the go and time a commodity. I love this brush so much that when it's nearly time for my next coloring appointment I'm going to buy it for my stylist so when I go there to see her we don't spend as much time de-tangling as we have been!
