My NUC 10 refused to power up. The little green light was on inside, but that was it. After re-seating memory and the SSD, I still was unable to boot. When I filed a ticket with Intel, the recommendation was to disconnect the battery and then reconnect to clear any issues with the CMOS. Getting to the battery is painful, so I decided to replace the almost 3 year old device with this new one. Replacing a battery like this is all about the connector. When this connector slid right into the board connector for the battery, I sang a happy tune. The replacement would have been a solid success if I hadn't ripped off one of the board connectors for the radio's antenna when disassembling the board. Even without that connection, my NUC now powers up and everything works.

After tearing down my old HTPC after 5 years of loyal use, I upgraded the CPU to find that every time I unplug it I lose my OC settings. I was a little peeved when I realized this was a soldered CMOS instead of the standard button in a holder on the board. Then after research I found out my Asrock B450 itx Mobo also needed reverse polarity which made it even more of a needle in the haystack. This did the trick, over night shipping combined with wiring as promised, it solved my issue. Can't speak to longevity of course, but for $10 by the time I replace this again, it will be time for a new mobo anyway. Added plus, the double sided tape made it suuuuper easy to remount this right where the old battery was attached. No complaints from me.

Worked on my CECHA01 model PS3. I've had it in for about a year so far and the battery still works (as it should).

buyers be aware: inverted battery polarity! My motherboard won’t boot up because of this. And their profile picture is correct. Amazon you need to ban this product before it causes more damages!

Needed this to replace a dead NVRAM battery in my computer. I could've soldered one of my own, but the price was sufficient to make it a worthwhile purchase and save me the effort.

Got this for a Gigabyte Brix GB-BXi3-5010 NUC-like mini PC from 2015, its battery died in 2023, whew! This Rome Tech battery connector is correct for that device, however, the polarity was inverted so I had to carefully pull back the mini plastic tabs, remove the pins and reinsert in the connector. I also checked the battery voltage at 3.14 volts, but I would have expected ~3.3 volts if a new battery. The date on the plastic tag on the cable says "0922" (September 2022) and this was bought on October 2023, so, one year in the depot, plus who knows how much longer since the battery left the factory. Hmm... Not really super happy, but I hope it at least gives a couple more years for this basic office computer.

I ordered two of the same ones and the polarity was reversed on one of them. Thankfully we checked it before installing it. Other than that, they seem to be working okay.

Worked for ASRock Z490M-ITX/AC. The polarity matched. If you have graphics card with the motherboard, you will have to remove it to replace the battery.
