Cuisinart: Not What it Used to Be
This pan just arrived and I'm so disappointed with the build quality. I purchased a "Cuisinart" brand since they have been known for quality, I've had great Cuisinart products in the past, and did not want a lower quality made pan. Surprise, it's made in China, and clearly not in one of the better factories there. The box was so light when it was delivered, I was expecting the roasting rack only, and may the pan wasn't inside. Nope, all items in the pictures were included, and I think the cardboard boxes are heavier than the actual pan. It says "stainless steel," but it feels like aluminum. I can take my thumb, press on the inside middle of the pan, and physically flex the bottom of the pan. Not sure how this will hold up with heat, roasting heavy birds and meats, etc. Since I purchased this for Thanksgiving, having wanted a better roasting pan, and my options are limited living overseas, I'm kinda stuck with this. I was so looking forward to a great "Cuisinart" pan, and now I feel like I just have to live with it. The box says "lifetime warranty," but I don't know if I'd want a new one when this one does break; and it definitely feels like it will not hold up to years of roasting. If the budget permits, get yourself an All-Clad or a Viking Pan, and don't waste your money on this. Hopefully Cuisinart will return to their formative years and start building solid, quality cookware again in the future.

Great pan, seems sturdy and it’s not very heavy. Cleans up well. I cooked a 23 lb turkey in it and it fit nicely. I wouldn’t go any bigger than that though.

The handle significantly enlarge the pan size to more than 16 inch. It cannot fit into my oven. And I was virtually impossible to return the item because the appointed carrier did not call me, or pick up the item. After days of half day continuous calling (I could never get through the line) and couple of emails sent with no reply, I finally got through the line today and the person told me that the tracking number is no longer valid and I have to request another tracking no. This really sucks! This is the latest update of the situation - Amazon took action and passed my case to another carrier and the parcel was collected on time and the refunds is received. Thank you Amazon and Cuisinart!

Wonderful roasting pan. Large handles make it easy to pick up. Super easy cleanup. Can roast a spatchcock chicken with stuffing or vegetables.
