I have really light skin, will the lightest shade work for me?

I bought the shade “natural” because that’s what I usually get from other brands too. I’ve seen some reviews online and nyx lightest shade is really light. Maybe you should also check the undertone color that works best for you, if your skin is more to the yellow side pale might work for you. If your skin is more neutral you should rey porcelain or alabaster, and last, if your skin is more pink the shade light ivory might work best for you.

Is this fine for very dry skin?

That depends. I have mostly oily skin, but I am almost 40 and have a few fine lines and a tiny bit of dryness near the eyes. I am still trying to wrangle this stuff to not settle into those lines, or my t-zone pores, but so far haven't been successful in getting the look to work to my liking. Others have cited this product working for their dry skin, so perhaps they have no fine lines or pores to contend with? Or they figured out the proper base for this and their skin? Unsure, but if you have fine lines, pores, etc. be prepared to not like this product *ever*, or possibly just know that you may need to experiment with it to get it to be its best.

Anyone know what shade woukd be just slightky lighter than Buff?

Hi, I’m not sure but I went to the NYX site to help find a shade that would work for me... once I was matched, I came to Amazon to buy due to pricing. The website also does a better job describing the shades.... The shade I ended up buying was PERFECT and I LOVE how lightweight this foundation is, even when being used as full coverage. I have bought it many times and won’t be switching any time soon. Good luck finding your shade!
