Worked perfectly right out of the package
Puled theTV out if storage when ours died, but couldn't find the remote that belonged to it. The TV worked fine, but couldn't program without the remote. Typed the model number into the search ar, and this one came up... decent reviews so I ordered it. As soon as I put batteries in, I tested the volume control and it worked! I was able to program the TV, scan for channels, adjust the picture and switch switch between sources. (HDMI, antenna etc.) There was no need to look for a code or any hand shaking, it was compatible right out of the package, nothing could be easier. This remote is a direct replacement for the factory remote. Well worth the cost, and I didn't have to drive anywhere to get it!

I should have bought this years ago!
