We decided to scoop a few spoonfuls of the gel pieces into glass ramekins. We then placed one ramekin in each room of our house. And wow! The odour is very mild, sometimes indiscernible. When you do smell it we find it smells like a cleaning product - inoffensive, pleasant and refreshing. The gel lasts a few days in a well ventilated area, so a little goes a long way with this stuff.
