Great kit

No more leaks sealed the carburetor right up and everything was exactly the right fit

As other reviewers have noted, many of the parts in this kit do not fit the V-Star 650 / XVS650A carburetor. Specifically, the needle valve seats are completely different and will not sit flush in the carb bore. The needles themselves are just fine, however. Look, I bought this kit for the gaskets, seals, and screws, and those fit exactly right and were of very good quality. It's worth mentioning that another review complained about the screws, but what he probably didn't realize is that these aren't Phillips head screws, and if you try to use a Phillips driver you'll strip out the heads. You need a JIS or Japanese Industrial Standard driver (Vessel makes a great one). With the seals and gaskets and screws in this kit, I got my carb back in action and my bike is running like new. For the price, you get a good deal, even if not everything is right.

I did not need all the parts but what I did use was great

None of the jets were the right size for my stock vstar 650. None of the prongs fit. I had to walk to the auto supply store to buy prongs. I used the float valve but not the seat due to them being to low and hitting the floats. The slider needle jets were to narrow. The two orings on the left are the old rings. The float bowl gaskets fit but that’s it! Don’t buy this you will not be happy.

Everything was just as it should have been. I rebuilt the carburetors on my Yamaha 650 vstar.

The gasket being one of the of the only parts I need from this kit was defective, the molding was missing in parts and obviously it wouldn't seal. Will Contact the seller and see if they will replace.
