Schwarzkopf Professional Igora Royal Absolutes Silverwhite - Silver

Used the BlondMe new bleach and developer 20 vol. Had to do the bleaching process twice, but my hair was at a level 4 to 5. NOT EVEN ONE NANO SECOND OF DISCOMFORT WITH TWO 45 MINUTE BLEACHING SESSIONS. These products are magic. Most of my hair was white, like Platinum_Perfection white. There were a couple of sections where my hair had been the darkest that were at about a level 8 pale yellow blond. I was sure the tints would cover it. I wanted a very Silver Grey and wanted a blend of colors. I used the Igora Royal Silver White as the base, then added a small amount of the Igora Royal Dove Grey and a little less amount of BlondMe Steel Blue, some of the new BlondMe Mask and the 20 Volume Developer. The color took extremely fast, about 20 minutes. Used the BlondMe Cool Blonde Shampoo; BlondMe All Blond Conditioner and added some Mask in with the conditioner. I used cool water for every process. I was afraid to look when I got out of the shower after the final conditioning step! Towel dried my hair, then looked! I am 69 years old and I was giggling and LOL, totally amazed! MY HAIR IS THE PERFECT SILVER GREY WITH BLENDED SHADES AND IT LOOKS INCREDIBLE. SCHWARZKOPF AND Perfect_Platinum tutorials are responsible. The entire process was completely painless! I HAVE NEVER LOVED MY HAIR AS MUCH AS I DO TODAY! I'LL NEVER USE ANOTHER PRODUCT LINE NO MATTER THE COLOR! No photo because of some hideous dermatitis on right side of face related to Neutron Radiation for Cancer a year ago, which still has nerve issues. I am 54 and my hair is a mix of silver and black hair. I have been trying to achieve that really pretty icy silver. I didn't get that but I do really like they way my hair came out today. I was looking for a color to be cheaper and easier to maintain. I am not a cosmetologist but I have been trying to do my own hair for financial reasons. I haven't been happy with any of the other silver dyes that I have tried. Most just turned my hair purple but then it does fade out. I tried the igora silverwhite 2oz mixed with 1 oz of the igora dove grey, the 3 oz of the igora dev 10. Left on my hair for 20 to 25 min. I don't know how long it will last but it was easy enough to do so if I have to redo every few weeks I am ok with that. My hair had lightened and was kind of a dull, muddy-ish grey. I had previously bleached, used well t14 toner to get the orange color that pulled through. Note I have been working on getting my hair lightened for the past year so I did not do all the bleaching, toning in today. I have bleached my hair quite a few times this past year. I don't think I will have to bleach any further. I am going to stick with igora now. I really like the results.

I bought the Silver, Silver Lilac, And Dark gray, i mixed all of them together, to see what o would get with 10 Vol. i loved the Results. My hair was a level 10 bleached, so i had yellow undertone to it, , so it didnt make it totally silver. But lile i mentiomed before. I wanted a mixured of the 3, next time ill try just the silver to see what it does.

Turned lightened level 10 hair (which was toned to a neutral shade) to a level 6 green brown / steel blue color. I had spent a two months getting my hair to the perfect place level wise and healthy. Used porosity balancer and opalex. Result was not only completely wrong - but within just 20 minutes hair was broken so badly with 10 vol I lost half my hair. I've been doing my own hair since the age of 12. Never have I seen a color so poorly made and damaging to hair. Used igora products from other lines before and never had such a bad result as this one. If you want silver skip this product and try using a semipermanent such as manic panic.

Ok, so I'm growing out white-gray hair. I had full highlights done twice earlier before the pandemic. The hairdresser gave me blond highlights the first time, even though I specified an ashy blond. I used this toner on the highlighted hair (which is practically blond) with 20 volume developer for about 40 minutes. It didn't seem to do much, maybe a tiny bit lighter. I didn't want to damage my hair, but maybe I should've used stronger developer. I'm giving this info in case someone is transitioning to gray as I am.

I have natural salt & pepper hair and this tended to darken my white hair simply because it's adding color to hair that's already colorless. My hair has no yellow cast so I didn't need it to neutralize that. But having said that, it is a quality hair color and I would still recommend to people who want to tone bleached hair and it will only do it's job if the hair is bleached to the correct level. For my hair I got the same effect as if I used a silver shampoo so I probably won't use this hair color again.

This product was designed for use by professionals in salons. It's meant for either bleached or natural *white*, gray or salt and pepper hair. If you're not naturally gray and your hair is darker a very bright platinum 10, it won't give you the results you want. These demi-permanent tints are sheer, so whatever is underneath will show through (but if your hair is too dark, it won't do much at all.) Slate gray is essentially a charcoal, a couple shades lighter than black, but without any warmth. Dove gray is warmer and lighter than that. Lilac has a purplish dark silver tone. Silver will produce just what it says - silver - not pure white. I use Slate, Silver and Fanola No-Yellow purple shampoo on my own bleached bright, almost white platinum hair to produce a charcoal-to-white ombre effect that fades out in about 3 weeks, but softly, producing almost no visible line between the dye and my level 7 ash roots. I recommend using with Schwarzkopf's BlondMe Bond Enforcing Lightener & oil-based developer if you're bleaching.

I put it on my hair It gave me a very coppery reddish tone It covered my ash highlights not as desired . Sorry but it does not do what is written on the box . I don’t recommend it .
