This book is great if you've never attempted kumihimo braiding before. The instructions are clear, there are step-by-step photos and the projects are very nice. It's not the most in-depth kumihimo book, but it's a perfect introduction. One vital tip that I didn't see mentioned: if you're using beads, tie a knot in the end of the cord before you wind it onto the bobbin. The bobbins are prone to unwinding and if you don't have a knot, your tiny beads will end up all over the floor.
