When I check the serial number in the Fortinet portal it says device is already used.

We use this to link sites from different ISP's with VPN to create a corporate network.

Es ist ein alter Lagerware. Fortigate gibt sein Router mit 3 Monate Lizenzen für viele Extra Features aus. Wir haben diesen Router so erhalten, dass es seit zwei Monaten gar keine Lizenzen hatte und auch der Hardware Garantie seit 5 Monate lief. Im Austausch der Preis mit 331 € inkl. Lieferung war unschlagbar. Wir können die Firmware-Updates ohne Probleme herunterladen und installieren, so dieser Kauf hat für mich gut gelohnt. Multi-WAN Router mit SD-WAN, Firewalling and Forticlient VPN Anschluss gehen super, ich brauchte nur diese Features, die ohne Lizenzen erreichbar sind.

Dopo un attacco hacker subito in azienda, ho scelto di acquistare per difesa delle reti personali. Di fortigate mi ha colpito l'ecosistema e la qualità dei prodotti. Firewall ben rifinito, robusto, facile da usare. Unico neo,è tutto in inglese, il che lo rende difficile da configurare in alcuni passaggi. Per quanto riguarda il software di gestione, consente di gestire fino 3 vpn e proteggere in modo dinamico e controllabile reti aziendali di piccole medie dimmensioni. il software viene aggiornato con costanza ed è compatibile sia con mac che con windows. La mia versione non ha il wifi, ma consiglio a chi deve fare tutto con 1 solo hardware, di acquistare la versione che ha le antenne. Ci sono diversi pacchetti di protezione e licenze aggiuntive, ma sono a pagamento. La cosa che in assoluto rende l'azienda leader di settore è la possibilità di gestire tutti i parametri in modo scalabile e personalizzato, andando a ridurre sensibilmente i rischi informatici di attacco alle reti e schermando i sistemi da siti web invadenti e pericolosi. consigliato per chi ha bambini o piccole attività commerciali

Ich habe die FW am 14.6.2023 bestellt. Bei der Einrichtung am 15.6. musste ich feststellen dass die Garantielaufzeit bereits am 18.5. begonnen hat. Auf Nachfrage beim Forti Support wurde mir mitgeteilt, dass die FW am 4.2.2023 das Werk verlassen hat, und nach 89 Tagen automatisch die Garantielaufzeit beginnt. Gleiches gilt auch für Trial-Versionen von IPS, AV, und Webfilter, alles per 10.6. abgelaufen. Die 1* Bewertung bezieht sich nicht auf das Produkt! Hier würde ich 5* vergeben!
