AEM 14000 Air Filter Wrap, black (1-4000)

El producto trae calidad pero queda justo al filtro Aem

Bought this cause i just put hood vents on my Subaru STi. This fits perfectly over a cobb filter!!! Testing it by dipping my hand in a bucket of water holding tissue paper and nothing got wet. AEM is amazing!!

I have an 11 mit lancer and i swapped to short air intake, the problem with changing the OEM intake with an SAI/CAI aftermarket is it could let more particles into the engine, causing damage in the long term, however i fell in love with my new engine revving sound lol, i bought this ARM air filter wrap for extra protection and to avoid water feom going into the engine on highway speeds on rainy days, no lights came up, it covers pretty much the entirely of the filter, just a little bit short to wrap around, being this is the highest quality filter wrap i could find i will keep it like that.

If your engine sputters after precipitation, water may be getting through your intake air filter and into the MAF sensor. When this happens, the wire gets cold and causes the ECU to dump more fuel into the engine than is needed, flooding the engine. This issue can be confirmed by watching the O2 sensor indicating rich condition (10.0).
