It gets me the hidden Pokemon in Pokemon Platinum and Pokemon White. It only works on Ds Lite. It crapped out as soon as I used the code manager. Otherwise, it would have lasted for at least 6 years or something, so don't use the code manager. I otherwise think this improved my life. Just put in the codes by hand and don't use the code manager and it will be fine. It let's you get hidden Pokemon! If you want Arceus in Pokemon Platinum or Victini in Pokemon White, do not hesitate to order this. It only works on Ds Lite.UPDATE: Can you please lower the price to at most $15? That would be nice because my son likes these too much to be willing to live without one and they are EXTREMELY useful, but they break too easily!!! Each time my son's action replay breaks, he starts hating himself more and more over being a kid because I as a parent know these cost too much to replace and I ain't willing to deal with it any more. Other than the fact that they break easily, this is a very good product. You could save my son's life if you just let him have all of these! People say this literally broke just by trying to put it in their DSiThere is no way this thing will just "break" on you for putting it into your DS, it feels sturdy, and for those who have managed to break this device, you are doing something very wrong or have hammers for fingers.2. It doesn't work, ectThis is mean to be used with DS, DSi and DSi XL only, and is only for DS games. If you get the other version that can be used in a 3DS, once again it is just for DS games. Action Replay can not be used for 3ds games.If a code doesn't work, you've entered it wrong, trust me.I really have no clue why so many people have trouble with what is a relatively simply device to use. Put the AR with a game in it into your DS, turn the DS on, select the AR app that pops up, it should auto check for the game you have and voila. It will work. If you go adding codes, do so responsibly and never save your game if the code may jeopardize your save file. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ worth it for game-lovers *by on Reviewed in the United States April 26, 2010* All in all, the Action Replay was totally worth it. Some people might call AR users lazy cheaters, but it is incredibly exciting to enhance your game with ridiculous upgrades. Games are meant to be fun! I have been using it exclusively for Pokemon, and that alone has made the AR's price worth it. I am able to have all kinds of fun, from capturing trainer's pets, to obtaining extremely rare pets that would be otherwise impossible. I can't wait to try the AR on other games, too.The Action Replay did corrupt one of my game files, but fortunately, my game automatically reverted to the last game save. Still, use caution. If you have a miniature SD card, you can store game saves on the Action Replay, which I would highly recommend, so if it corrupts any of your files, you have a back up. Also make sure to follow the directions when using it, such as not inserting the game cartridge into the Action Replay before or during start-up, which can increase chances of corruption. The DSi is very peculiar, so you will probably experience freezing on occasion, but nothing too debilitating. Just make sure you save often.There are a plethora of codes available online, which you can add using the AR computer interface. If you are not tech-savvy, you might have problems adding codes and so on, but most people should be able to do this without problems. I did have troubles connecting the Action Replay to Windows 7 at first, but I just needed to manually download the drivers. To do this, while your Action Replay is plugged into your computer's USB (and make sure your DSi is on), go to Control Panel, then Hardware (Devices), then find the DSi entry. Double click it, then Properties. Select the Driver tab, then select Update. Select where your AR driver is (the CD), then click OK. Your computer should automatically detect the Action Replay, and it should work.Although other reviewers have complained of their products breaking, I have repeatedly dropped and generally rough-handled my Action Replay over the past month, and it's still working fine.
