The tool was exactly what I ordered, and it works great, thanks. MD.

Took a risk due to the picture of the broken one. I have a Gasoline Jackhammer (red thing) from Amazon (you'll know it when you search for it). My jackhammer claims it is a " 1-1/6"" Hex - yes, one SIXTH of an inch (???) - this thing works in it. Works great, works like it was made for it. If you've got the mystery gas-powered jackhammer from Amazon, that uses really weird units of measure, and you're wondering if this ground-rod-driver will fit.... the answer, Raymond, is YES! I like the steel - something wonderful about heavy steel. It is horrible to use - think dry waterboarding - but, that's the nature of jackhammers. Is good. Makes Stompy (what, your tool doesn't have a name?) ready to expand her poking capabilities. To sum it up - it is steel, it fits in my Stompy, it is heavy. That is all, end transmission.

Worked perfectly with my XtremepowerUS 3600W Electric Demolition Jack Hammer (also purchased on Amazon) to drive a 8' ground rod into shale. Took awhile but it did the job. I would never have been able to do this with a maul.

Fit my princess Auto jack hammer perfectly and got the job done.

I have not had opportunity to use this tool yet, albeit, I do plan to use it for a project in a few weeks. The tool is substantially built and quite heavy, so it is likely to stand up over the long run. The diameter of the hole into which the ground rod is to be placed on my tool is actually 1 inch which is larger than it states in the product description. I'm not sure if this is to allow for easy removal if there is "mushrooming" of the rod end as it is driven into the ground, or if I simply got sent a different tool than I ordered. I'm wondering how well it will work when I drive smaller rods i.e. half inch or less. Only experience will answer that question. The tool does fit into my PowerFist Electric Jackhammer from Princes Auto.
